The Facts

During CNN’s Town Hall interview Biden was asked about what scientists are telling him regarding the covid vaccine. To everyone’s surprise Biden dropped the bomb: he said that although many people have concerns because they believe that the vaccine was approved too quickly, that in reality, the covid vaccine has been in development for the last 20 years. That there is nothing quick or new about it.

Although the usual gibberish and cut sentence pattern was part of Biden’s response, he stated twice that they have been working on the vaccine for two decades and that they have not said that enough to people to allay their fears.

The Eloquence

If I had one hundred questions about the vaccine, now I have 10,000. How did they know about covid-19 20 years ago? Where is the scientific data of the last 20 years? If they already had the vaccine, why waited until more than 4M people die worldwide to release it. Why do they believe that hiding data and information to obscure any form of transparency on the matter will alley people’s fears? Should I go on? If that is supposed to give us peace of mind and make us feel safe it actually backfired.

To be fair and trying to assume the best, I went ahead and did some research regarding mRNA vaccine technology. Not the covid vaccine, but the type of biotechnology used in the vaccine. However, it turns out that the research of such technology is also relatively new. So, Biden’s reference does not apply to that either. The first time a pharmaceutical formally started its research into mRNA technologies was in 2011. Not even a decade ago.

The only clear thing here is that the subject is getting darker and darker, and the darker it gets, the more dishonest the Biden administration becomes and the less the American people really know what’s going on. So if you had any doubts about the vaccine, hopefully this lack of transparency helps you make up your mind. There is a saying in Spanish that translates: “the fish die by its mouth”. Something tells me that the name of the fish is Joe. Just give it some time.
